Our Mission: To educate and empower children living in extreme poverty.

Road to Freedom Scholarships is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing educational opportunities to girls living in Kibera Slum, in Kenya. We believe that education is the key to empowering young girls, unlocking their potential, and paving their way towards a brighter future. Through scholarships, mentorship programs, and community support, we strive to create a pathway to freedom and transform lives by offering young girls scholarships to go to school.

Road to Freedom Scholarships provides access to clean water, a nutritious meal, hygiene products, a school uniform, school supplies and tuition. We believe the only way out of the slum is through education. Our goal is to help these girls become leaders of change in their communities. The power of educating a girl helps their mothers, helps the community, changes the world!

Kibera is one of the largest slums in the world and the largest in Africa, located near Nairobi, Kenya. Over 1/2 million people live within 1 square mile with no infrastructure. Only 8% of girls in Kibera have the opportunity to go to school. Most parents earn one dollar a day and cannot afford school fees.
